Collaboration between Kyoto Craftsmanship and Hideki Kimura (Ki-Yan)
The painter Hideki Kimura, also known as the modern day of Sotatsu Tawaraya, after a famous painter from the Edo-period, has attracted much attention inside Japan. His colorful and evocative works are now available as faithful reproductions in Nishijin gold brocade. The reproduction work takes our skilled artisans two to three weeks of devoted labor.
